Job description

• Conduct research into new technologies and commission new complex products, equipment, material and services.
• Provide advanced support services.
• Participate and represent Eskom at national and internation forums.

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
• BSc Honours Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Radiation Sciences and Technology/Engineering Sciences at NQF8 with 480 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
• 4 years’ related experience in Radiation Protection functions which includes as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principles, operational, dosimetry, effluent management, radwaste management, plant systems, emergency response and nuclear analysis and reactor physics.
Professional Registration
• Professional registration with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP)
