Position/Task Grade: EEE E-Band. Department: Finance. Business Unit: Generation-Finance Head Office. Area of specialization: Reporting to the General Manager Finance, the Senior Manager Finance Business Centre will be responsible to provide strategy, direction and leadership for effective and efficient financial management of the business unit aligned to the finance business partner strategic objectives and to maintaining sound financial discipline across the business.

Key Responsibilities 

·       Direct and lead strategic financial management and business planning.

·       Direct strategic partner capabilities to drive finance enablement and business decisions.

·       Direct financial risk management and drive business governance in the business unit.

·       Manage key finance functional areas.

·       Manage audit processes and drive improvement in internal controls.

·       Provide financial functional leadership for divisional Business units.

     Manage department and resources

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):   

·       Honours Degree in Finance/Accounting plus Chartered Accountant (CA) SA at NQF level 8 with 480 credits.  

Experience:

 ·       10 years’ extensive financial management experience, general business experience or experience in a leadership role.

 Professional Registration Body: 

South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
