Introduction
Department: Nuclear Fuel. Business Unit: Koeberg Power Station, Location: Koeberg Power Station, Western Cape. Reporting to the Chief Nuclear Officer, the Senior Manager Nuclear Fuel will be responsible for taking responsibility to optimally source and supply nuclear fuel and provide nuclear backend management services required by Eskom.

Key Responsibilities

·      Formulate and manage the implementation of strategic and operational plans for the nuclear fuel functional area.

·     Take responsibility for strategy management and financial planning of nuclear fuel supply contracts and fuel usage management and planning processes.

·       Provide strategic direction for nuclear fuel sourcing, supply and fuel usage management operations.

·       Ensure human capital performance.

·  Establish and maintain constructive and productive relationships. Ensure governance and financial management

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):   

·       BSc Degree in Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits or a

·       B Degree in Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits or

·       Honours Degree in Science at NQF8 with 480 credits

Experience: 

·       10 Years in nuclear fuel supply or production and fuel usage management
