Job description

· Measurement of Work

· Management of Subcontractor functions

· Communication and record keeping

· Reporting

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

  Relevant Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar

  Valid Drivers License

Experience:

  3 years’ experience in Electrical or Civil Construction Industry, related to Quantity Surveying

Skills:

  Good Financial and Technical skills with regards to Construction Work

  Analytical, systematic and logical process thinking

  Good management and organisational skills, ability to manage conflict and change management skills.

  Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with Senior Management

 

Knowledge:

  Good knowledge and experience in measuring of Construction work and Quantity Surveying

  Good knowledge and understanding of the NEC Suite of documents

  Good knowledge and understanding of the SABA/SANS 1200 Document

  Computer literate (MS Office suite, scheduling software, financial systems )
