· Expert knowledge of the PFMA, regulations and related Treasury instructions
· Procedures and standards, including legislated prescripts for assessments and determinations
· Budgeting, cost estimating and fiscal management principles and procedures
· Strong understanding of principles pertaining to organisational strategy and combined assurance
· Specialised advanced knowledge regarding PFMA implementation with recognised industry expertise
· Examine and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policies, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

· Key Responsibilities
· Manage the Public Finance Management Act office
· Provide strategic leadership and administrative management
· Drive audit readiness and support risk mitigation
· Manage performance and reporting.
Manage human and other resources
Minimum requirements
· Qualification(s):
o B Degree in Commerce/Law at NQF7 with 360 credits or a
o B Tech in Commerce/Law at NQF7 with 360 credits or an
o Advanced Diploma in Commerce/Law at NQF7 with 360 credits
· Related Minimum Experience:
o 10 Years’ experience in managing the conduct of PFMA assessments and determinations, resources.
