Job description
Responsible for providing a specialised technical service in workshop and on site for the repair and maintenance, of power transformer plant and associated ancillary equipment. Conduct investigations and compilation of detailed investigation reports, scope of work and recommendations regarding the repair, together with the relevant technical specifications and other detail.
Skills:
· Sound Technical knowledge of Transformer and Switchgear related maintenance including protection and control systems
· Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point)
· Above average analytical skills and ability to maintain a high quality standard of work
· Familiar with ERi BMS System including Grievance and Disciplinary Procedure, House agreement and Quality process
· Condition Monitoring analytical skills
· Technical Diagnostics/ Fault-finding
· Customer Relation skills
· People management and conflict resolution skills
· Negotiation and Facilitation
· Technical Report Writing Skills

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· National Diploma (T3 I S4 I BTech) Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
- National Drivers Licence First Aid Certificate
Experience:
· 5 years Related Experience within a Power Transformer and Switchgear Environment with sound Technical Experience.
· Transformer and electrical apparatus refurbishment experience on Site and in the Works environment
