Position/Task Grade: EEE Department: Project Management Office Business Unit: Group Investigations and Security. Reporting to the General Manager Investigation and Security the Senior Manager Security Operations will be responsible to formulate and direct the execution of an integrated security operations strategy aligned with the overall Eskom security function direction.

Key Responsibilities

·       Formulate and lead the implementation of Eskom’s security operations and crime prevention strategy.

·       Manage the delivery of professional security services.

·       Manage internal and external stakeholder relations.

·       Ensure security compliance and governance.

·       Manage security resources.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

·       B Degree in Security Management/ Policing/ Forensic Investigations/ Law at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits or

·       B Tech in Security Management/ Policing/ Forensic Investigations/ Law at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits or 

·       Advanced Diploma in Security Management/ Policing/ Forensic Investigations/ Law at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits.

Experience:

·       10 Years of extensive security management experience within a management capacity / senior security management role.

·       Extensive experience in Operation Management

Professional registration required

·       Private Security Industry Regulation Authority – Grade A or higher
