Job description

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide support by implementing and executing the implementation of an international organisation of standardisation (ISO) 14001 environmental management system and related procedures in the designated areas of the business.
•Ensure compliance to legislative and governance requirements in the designated areas of the business
through the implementation of compliance measures.
•Execute the process for obtaining environmental approvals for environmental authorisation, waste, water usage, atmospheric emission licenses and tree cutting permits.
•Implement and monitor environmental management plans.
•Perform environmental investigations.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):
Diploma/National Diploma in Natural Science/Environmental Management at NQF 6 with 240 credits
 
Experience:
3 years’ related experience in the area of Environmental Management
