Introduction
Job description
· Conduct modelling and analysis to support the organisation’s medium-to long-term investment and trading strategies
· Provide medium- and long-term energy planning capability
· Perform operational, economic and financial analysis
· Conduct research on energy planning methods, develop new techniques and adapt appropriate methods and techniques
· Maintain existing and new models based on specific model requirements and
changed assumptions
· Assess developments in the energy sector
· Synthesize analysis findings and implications for the organisation to develop
valuable insights and strategic recommendations to support the function

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· B Degree/B Tech in Business Management/ Commerce/Engineering/Sciences at NQF7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
· Minimum of 7 years in Industry related experience in energy related
analytics with a successful track record of business
intelligence, tools and analysis in the energy industry.
