- Provide leadership, guidance for psycho-social processes
- Manage employee assistance programme (EAP) activities
- Scan the environment and analyse information
- Design policy, negotiate and communicate information
- Provide specialist advice
- Monitor human resources indicators
- Represent Eskom on external and local forums
- Manage client relations

- Marital, family and relationship, personal debt and financial management, sexual harassment problems
- Substance abuse alcohol, drugs, prescription medication and other addictive behaviour such as gambling
- Workplace violence, trauma counselling and after care conflict management and resolution
- Health stress management
- Lifestyle management, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immune deficiency syndrome
- (AIDS) and tuberculosis (TB) in the workplace
- Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) standards, related legislation
- Organisations human resources (HR) systems, policies and procedures
- Management of sickness, absenteeism and medically incapacitated employees
- EAP service provider contracts, eligibility requirements, performance standards, budget limitations,scope of service, strengths and weaknesses of the service provider

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- Honours Degree in Social Work / Psychology at NQF8 with 480 credits
Professional Registration Body:
- Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) or South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
Experience:
- 4 Years Related Experience in Experience in employee wellness
