Position/Task Grade: E-Band Department: Business Process Management Business Unit: Information Technology Reporting to the Chief Technology and Information Officer the General Manager Business Process Management will be responsible to provide direction, leadership and planning for improvement across all organisation business processes according to cost, time and quality requirements, contributing to the enhancement of the organisation's efficiency, effectiveness and competitive advantage and continuous re-assessment for best practices to improve the way Eskom delivers products and services to customers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

·        Map the top thirty business processes for time.

·       Map the top business processes for cost.

·       Map the top business processes for quality and effectiveness.

·       Identify poorly designed aspects for the top business processes.

·       Migrate improved and re-engineered process maps to Group Technology information technology (IT) and operation technology (OT) for automation and digitalisation through systems.

·       Identify top problematic high priority business processes.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

·       B Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF level 7 with 360 credits or

·       B Tech in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF level 7 with 360 credits or

·       Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF level with 360 credits

Experience:

·       10 years’ extensive experience in business process mapping, business process re-engineering (BPR), costs and improvement across IT and OT platforms.
