Position/Task Grade: EEE E-Band Department: Service Delivery Operations Business Unit: Group Technology Reporting to the Chief Technology and Information Officer the General Manager IT/OT Service Delivery will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and planning the delivery of all information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) operations and services to ensure the teams meet the needs and expectations of clients, stakeholders and business units across the organisation. Note that the successful candidate can either be a permanent employee or an FTC employee.

Key Responsibilities

·       Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and collaborate with key stakeholders.

·       Manage and optimise the use of service delivery resources.

·       Plan and manage service delivery.

·       Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

·       Manage all domain controller (DC) operations for information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT).

·       Manage all Data Centres (DCs) / Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) / Business Continuity Management (BCM) operations for information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT).

·       Manage all service deployment across all technology platforms.

 

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

·       B Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF level 7 with 360 credits or

·       B Tech in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF level 7 with 360 credits or

·       Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF level with 360 credits

Experience:

10 years’ extensive experience in service delivery, computer operations, data centre management and disaster recovery plan (DRP)/business continuity management (BCM)
