Skills:

·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse organisation.

·  SAP system reporting (Financial and HCM modules)

Knowledge: 

·  Extensive knowledge of Public Finance Management Act

·  Extensive knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain Processes

·  Extensive knowledge of Nation Treasury Fruitless and Wasteful and Irregular Expenditur

·  Knowledge of auditing and investigation methodologies and principles

·  Knowledge on the design, implementation and monitoring of internal controls.

 Key Responsibilities

·  Conduct PFMA investigations.

·  Prepare investigative report with findings and appropriate recommendations for senior management which are timely, articulate and thorough.

·  Provide post-investigative support.

·  Continuous improvement

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s): 
 
·  Degree in Law or Commerce.
 
Experience:
  
·  5 years’ experience in the PFMA environment and investigation of irregularities.
·  Experience in the commercial environment would be advantageous
