Position/Task Grade: EEE. Department: Human Capital. Business Unit: Human Capital. Location: Megawatt Park-Sunninghill. Reporting to Chief People Officer, the General Manager Talent Acquisition will be responsible to lead, develop, implement talent sourcing strategies to support the company’s overall mission, vision and strategic objectives, play a pivotal role in attracting, retaining and nurturing top talent while fostering positive and inclusive work culture, collaborating with the relevant executive management and other key stakeholders to help shape the organisation’s talent discovery policies, practices and initiatives to drive employee engagement, productivity and long-term growth.

·       Key Responsibilities

·       Formulate and implement comprehensive talent sourcing strategies.

·       Align company talent acquisition, deployment and retention strategies with global trends/best practices.

·       Drive talent sourcing strategies including digitisation.

·       Drive organisational change, culture transformation and sound people relations.

·       Lead and implement talent sourcing portfolio initiatives and ensure employee services.

·       Drive the control environment including governance, risk management and compliance initiatives.

·       Entrench the Eskom values and leadership brand pillars.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

 o   B Degree in Human Capital/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits or a

o   B Tech in Human Capital/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits or

o   Advance Diploma in Human Capital/ Business Administration/ Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits

Related Minimum Experience: 

o   10 Years extensive experience in a management position in human capital environment in talent sourcing/ executive search/ talent mapping/ e-recruitment/ campus recruitment.
