Job description
- Provide support by implementing and executing the implementation of an international organisation of standardisation (ISO) 14001 environmental management system and related procedure in the designated areas of the business
- Ensure compliance to legislative and governance requirements in the designated areas of the business through the implementation of compliance measures
- Execute the process for obtaining environmental approvals for environmental authorisation, waste, water usage, atmospheric emission licenses and tree cutting permits
- Implement and monitor environmental management plans
- Perform environmental investigations
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- Grade 12
- Diploma / National Diploma in Natural Science / Environmental Management at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits
Experience:
- Three (3) years related experience in the area of environmental management
