Skills:
· Good financial and technical skills with regards to construction work especially civil, mechanical and electrical.
· Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with senior management
· Good interpersonal skills
· Good ability to write reports and presentation clear written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
· English as preferred language to speak, write and communicate
· Computer Literate (Microsoft office suite, scheduling software, financial system)
· Good management and organisational skills, ability to manage conflict and change management skills.
· Good negotiation skills
Knowledge:
· Strong understanding of the energy or civil construction industry
· Good knowledge and experience in measuring of construction work and quantity surveying
· Good knowledge and understanding of the NEC suite of contracts
· Good knowledge and understating of the SABS/ SANS 1200 document

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· Relevant Degree or Diploma Quality Surveying or Similar
· Professional Registration would be beneficial
· Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
· Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Electrical or Civil Construction Industry, related to Quantity Surveying
· 3 years Management Experience (Senior QS Role)
