Position: Senior Advisor Prof Legal Area of specialization: To provide general legal advisory services by delivering quality, reliable, accurate, timely and well-informed advice regarding legal issues and the potential legal implications of various business initiatives and projects including Property law (evictions, acquisition of land, expropriation and gaining access to land) Task Grade: P15 Department: Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Business Unit: Office of the Chief Executive Location: Megawatt Park (Sunninghill)
Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide general legal advice.

2.  Manage general dispute resolution and provide general negotiation assistance.

3.  Advise on the implementation of legislation and case law.

4.  Manage external attorneys.

Minimum requirements

·       Qualification(s):

 

LLB/B Proc at NQF8 with 480 credits and Admitted Attorney/Advocate.

 

·       Minimum Related Experience:

4 Year’s Post Admission Experience in legal environment.

Professional Registration Body: Legal Practice Council (LPC).
