Position: Corporate Professional Treasury Accounting Position/Task Grade: PPE Department: Treasury Business Unit: Treasury Accounting Area of specialization: Reporting to the Senior Manager Treasury Accounting, the Corporate Professional Treasury Accounting, will be responsible to apply highly professional skills and knowledge required for treasury accounting, in preparation of world standard reports and financial statements of the treasury function integrated into Eskom group financials.

Key Responsibilities

·       Apply highly professional skills and knowledge.

·       Execute accounting related activities relating to derivative valuations.

·       Provide technical leadership to relevant stakeholders.

·       Assist in preparing the reports and related statutory documents for and by Treasury.

·       Provide stakeholder reporting and relationship management.

·       Establish and maintain a technical accounting knowledge and advisory service.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

·       Honours Degree in Accounting (with articles) CA (SA) at a NQF 8 level with 480 credits                                                                            

Experience:                                                                           

·  10 Years extended experience and detailed knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) in theory and in practice

Professional Registration Body:

·       South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)
