Position: Senior Manager Jet Programme Delivery-Renewables Position/Task Grade: EEE-BAND Department: Jet Programme Delivery (KRIEL/MATLA/GROOTVLEI/ARNOT) Business Unit: Eskom Executive Renewables Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Manager Jet Programme Delivery will be responsible to provide direction and leadership to project management teams for planning, formulating, managing, and maintaining professional project support strategies, services, resources and controls necessary for the success of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

·     Position and provide strategic leadership and oversight for the management and integration of projects and programmes within the portfolio.

·  Direct and report on portfolio performance according to the benefits realization process, governance framework and contractual requirements.

·       Direct and report on financial performance of the portfolio.

·       Position and direct strategic relationships with key stakeholders for delivery of the portfolio.

·       Direct and influence the execution of portfolio projects.

·       Lead and manage the portfolio management team performance.

·       Position and direct controls for planning, scheduling, accounting and costing for delivery of the portfolio.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

·       B Degree in Built Environment/ Commerce/ Human Science at NQF7 with 360 credits or

·       B-Tech in Built Environment/ Commerce/ Human Science at NQF7 with 360 credits or

·       Advanced Diploma in Built Environment/ Commerce/ Human Science at NQF7 with 360 credits 

Experience:

· 10 years’ related experience in Portfolio, programme and project management or construction management.
