· Power plant specific transformers, auxiliary, switchgear theoretical knowledge at the required level
· Quality management international organisation for standardisation (ISO) 9001 and 14001
· Emergency response and safety

· Tools and specialised equipment.
· Low and high voltage systems up to 33kV
· High voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) line construction
Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS)
· Meter worker certification
· Single phase tester
· Crane operating
· Mobile elevating platform operating
· Auger drill operating
· Rock drill operating
Skills
· Public driver`s permit (PDP)
· Valid driver’s license EC/EB/C1
· Safety management
· Basic workshop
· Communication
· Sound interpersonal relations
· LV authorisation
Key Responsibilities
· Perform breakdown maintenance
· Perform routine maintenance
· Perform minor construction activities
· Ensure health and safety
· Provide customer services
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· Grade 12 with Maths and Science/NCV4/NSC3/N3 Engineering at NQF4 with 120 credits
Professional Registration Body

Related Minimum Experience:
- 2 Years Distribution network operating and maintenance
