Task Grade: EEE, Department: Engineering. Business Unit: Engineering. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager Engineering will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Engineering area outputs.

   Key Responsibilities

·       Position and provide strategic leadership and oversight for the management and integration of projects and programs within the portfolio.

·       Direct and report on financial performance of the portfolio.

·       Position and direct strategic relationships with key stakeholders for the delivery of the portfolio.

·       Direct and influence the execution of portfolio projects for continuous improvement.

·       Lead and manage the portfolio management team performance.

·       Position and direct controls for planning, scheduling, accounting and costing for delivery portfolio.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):  

·       B Degree in the Built Environment / Commerce / Human Sciences at a NQF 7 level with 360 Credits or a

·       B-Tech in the Built Environment / Commerce / Human Sciences at a NQF 7 level with 360 Credits or

·       Advance Diploma Built Environment / Commerce / Human Sciences at a NQF 7 level with 360 Credits.   

Experience: 

·       10 Years of experience in Portfolio, Programme and Project Management / Construction Management.
