Job description

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assure that all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the operations, contract and project life cycle.
•    Manage the delivery of the Nuclear project quantity surveying service.
•    Manage team performance, development of skills, knowledge and capabilities.
•    Represent financial controls in tender evaluations, contract clarification and cost negotiations.
•    Monitor, advise and support line managers, project managers, contract managers and contract administration services.
•    Support the collation and compilation of contract documentation.
•    Manage compliance with all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):
•    B-Degree B Tech in Quantity Surveying at NQF 7 with 360 Credits. 
 
Professional Registration Body:
•    Professional registration with the South African Council of Quantity Surveying Professionals (SACQS) as Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS). 
 
Related Minimum Experience:
•    5 years related experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering / Engineering and Construction Contracts / Project Management in the Built environment.
