File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and Application Programming Interface (API) and when to be used 

Geographic information system (GIS) and automated mapping facilities management (AMFM) 

Understanding map projections, GIS applications, cartographic principles, data processing and analysis

Develop and manage Geospatial Dashboards

Web Map application development processes

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

Honours Degree in Survey/Land Surveying/Cartography/Geomatics/ Geoinformatics/Environmental Sciences at NQF8 with 480 credits

 

Experience:

4 years. GIS applications, data processing and analysis, project management and contracts placement.

 

Professional Registration Body:

Registered as a Professional Practitioner with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) or Professional Natural Scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientist Professions (SACNASP)
