Skills

·       Strong management and organizational skills combined with the ability to manage conflict.

·       Strong leadership skills (Plan, Direct, Implement, Control, Review).

·       Ability to communicate clearly in written or verbal communication.

·       Ability to negotiate, facilitate and influence interactions with employees, clients, suppliers, and Third Parties.

Knowledge

·      Good understanding, technical knowledge and experience with regards to construction industry and relevant standards and specification (SANS, etc).

·       Good knowledge and understanding of Legislative Acts (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, OHSACT, etc).

·       Project management principles.

·       Understanding of financial management related to projects.

·       Computer literate (Ms Office Suite, Scheduling Software, Financial Systems).

Minimum requirements

•    Grade 12
•    Relevant Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
•    Project Management training would be an added advantage.
•    SACPCMP Registration would be an added advantage.
•    5 years’ experience in a site management role on a Construction site in addition to the study time for the                 qualification.
