Job description
- Provide technical consulting and investigating services.
- Provide and integrate engineering solutions or designs for asset creation.
- Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practises and specifications.
- Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations.
- Provide input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
- Conduct discipline specific technology research.
- Participate in national and international technical forums.
- Provide professional technical leadership.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· Grade 12
· BTech / National Higher Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering NQF 7 with 360 credits
Experience:
· Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Technologist
