Key Responsibilities
· Transformer design and specification approved technical designs, ratings, insulation levels, and compliance with standards.
· Installation and commissioning report verified setup, testing results, and readiness for operation.
· Maintenance plans and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and longevity.
· Condition monitoring reports oil analysis (DGA), thermal performance, load analysis, and health assessments.
· Fault analysis and root cause reports investigations of failures, with corrective and preventive actions.
· Performance optimization recommendations efficiency improvements, load balancing, and loss reduction strategies.
· Safety and compliance documentation adherence to electrical safety standards, risk assessments, and audit reports.
· Project management deliverables timelines, budgets, procurement specifications, and contractor oversight for transformer projects.
· Technical guidance and team leadership mentoring engineers, reviewing designs, and ensuring best engineering practices.
· Asset lifecycle management plans refurbishment, upgrades, and replacement strategies for transformers.

· Effective English Communication Skills, and able to communicate at all levels in the Organisation
Knowledge:
· Above average Engineering and Technical knowledge of Transformer
· Knowledge of quality management systems and relevant ISO Standards
· Knowledge of the OHSA, Construction Regulations and Environmental Regulation

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· B.SC. Eng. Electrical
· Plus ECSA Professional Registration
· Master’s Degree count for 2 years’ experience
· Doctorate Degree count for 3 years’ experience
Experience:
· 15 years Post Graduate Engineering experience that includes 12 years’ experience specifically in the engineering aspects related to the Transformers
· Experience must include Mentoring of Trainee Engineer or Design Engineer
· Advanced Computer Skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point, MS projects, CAD and FEA software (SolidWorks, Nastran, Patran, Marc or similar)
· Experience of Quality Management Systems and relevant ISO Standards
· Experience of the OHSA, Construction Regulations and Environmental Regulations
