Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct modelling and analysis to support the organisation’s medium-to long-term investment and trading strategies.
2. Provide medium- and long-term energy planning capability.
3. Perform operational, economic and financial analysis.
4. Conduct research on energy planning methods, develop new techniques and adapt appropriate methods and techniques.
5. Maintain existing and new models based on specific model requirements and changed assumptions.
6. Assess developments in the energy sector.
7. Synthesize analysis findings and implications for the organisation to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations to support the function.

Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Qualification(s):
• B Degree/B Tech in Business Management/Commerce/Engineering/Sciences at NQF7 with 360 credits.
Experience:
• 7 years’ Industry related experience in energy related analytics with a successful track record of business intelligence, tools and analysis in the energy industry.
