Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform operating activities
Take out plant permits
Perform administrative duties
Maintain electrical or mechanical plant equipment
Assist with modifications
Ensure availability of correct spares and materials
Perform standby duties
Supervise contractors, Eskom employee activities during outages

Minimum requirements

 Grade 12/NCV4/NSC3 with Maths and Science at NQF4 with 120 credits plus Trade Test

or

National Certificate in Gas Power Plant Auxiliary Systems Operations at NQF4 with 120 credits applicable to gas stations
or

National Certificate in Hydro Power Plant Auxiliary Systems Operations NQF4 with 120 credits applicable to hydro stations

Related Minimum Experience:

2 years Technical Experience in maintenance environment
