Position summary
Introduction
Job description
· Implement, Maintain and support Eskom network infrastructure across multiple platforms and technologies.
· Contribute towards the development of Eskom network plan
· Perform network capacity and implementation planning for the region
· Provide technical network guidance to desktop and information management (IM) employees in regions
· Facilitate the meeting of group information technology (GIT) objectives
· Ensure safekeeping of equipment in the store and asset management

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· National Diploma/National N Diploma in Information Technology/Information Management/National Diploma Electrical Engineering (Digital) at NQF6 with 240 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
· Minimum of 3 years of Wide area network (WAN/local area network (LAN) operations and support, network planning and implementation Exposure to a wide range of network technologies
