Introduction
Position/Task Grade: E-band. Department: Treasury. Business Unit: Treasury Accounting. Area of specialization: Reporting to the General Manager Treasury, the Senior Manager Treasury Accounting and Financial Report will be responsible to apply highly professional skills and knowledge required for treasury accounting in preparation of world standard reports and financial statements of the treasury function integrated into Eskom group financials.

Qualification(s): 

o   B Degree in Finance/ Accounting at a NQF7 with 360 credits or a

o   B Tech in Finance/ Accounting at a NQF7 with 360 credits or an

o   Advanced Diploma in Finance/ Accounting at a NQF7 with 360 credits.

o   10 Years’ experience in financial management and treasury, general management, policy and procedures within finances and management of Human Resources.

·       Key Responsibilities

·    Provide strategic direction, leadership oversight and manage the Treasury Accounting and Financial Reporting     functions.

·       Provide technical leadership to relevant stakeholders.

·  Direct technical and Treasury Accounting and Financial Reporting outputs in preparation of the Eskom integrated report and other relevant statutory documents.

·       Provide stakeholder reporting and relationship management.

·       Establish and maintain technical accounting knowledge and advisory services.
