Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the project life cycle.

2. Manage the delivery of the project quantity surveying service.

3. Manage team performance, development of skills, knowledge and capabilities.

4. Represent project controls in tender evaluations, contract clarification and cost negotiations.

5. Monitor, advise and support project controls and contract administration services.

6. Lead and support the collation and compilation of contract documentation.

7. Manage compliance with all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s): 

B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/Construction/Construction Economics at NQF7 with 360 credits

 Professional Registration Body:

Professional Registration Body: South African Council of Quantity Surveying Professionals (SACQS) as a professional quantity surveyor (PrQS)

Related Minimum Experience:

5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering / Engineering and Construction Contracts / Project Management in the Built environment
