Key Responsibilities
· Provide support by implementing and executing the implementation of an international organisation of standardisation (ISO) 14001 environmental management system and related procedures in the designated areas of the business.
· Ensure compliance to legislative and governance requirements in the designated areas of the business through the implementation of compliance measures.
· Execute the process for obtaining environmental approvals for environmental authorisation, waste, water usage, atmospheric emission licenses and tree cutting permits.
· Implement and monitor environmental management plans.
· Perform environmental investigations.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- Diploma/National Diploma in Natural Science/Environmental Management at NQF 6 with 240 credits.
Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in Related experience in the area of environmental management
