Key Responsibilities
- Perform point-to-point testing of plant during maintenance or commissioning
- Update and maintain accurate SCADA plant database
- Build 1-line SCADA displays for use in the control rooms
- Provision of technical services
- Perform and contribute to design work
- Contribute to the integrity of the asset base
- Deliver standardisation outputs
- Configure and maintain EMS workstations and associated IT infrastructure (Linux and Windows environments)
- Support and maintain EMS SCADA systems, including data acquisition, processing, and visualization
- Assist in the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of telecommunications links to substations for EMS data flow

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· National N Diploma / National Diploma Electrical at NQF 6 with 240 Credits
Experience:
· 3 years’ experience in technical experience in Power Generation, Distribution or Transmission
