Knowledge:

Key Responsibilities
· Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Civils portfolio, ensuring alignment to Construction Services objectives.
· Accountable for overall Civils project delivery performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
· Ensure profitability, growth and effective cost management for the Civils portfolio, including budget, CAPEX and cash flow management.
· Implement and maintain Civils project management best practice in collaboration with the Project Management Office.
· Maintain active oversight of project execution; intervene and escalate where required to ensure smooth running of projects.
· Build and maintain key client relationships (including relevant Eskom stakeholders) to enable delivery and secure future work.
· Drive SHEQ leadership and compliance across all Civils projects, including ensuring valid legal appointments and adherence to ISO/OHS requirements.
· Lead and manage Civils resources (planning, utilisation, overtime, leave, training and capability development) to meet project needs.
· Manage performance, discipline and industrial relations matters within the Civils area in line with the PD&R process and ERI procedures.
· Ensure accurate weekly and monthly portfolio and project reporting, including performance, risks, issues and corrective actions.
