Position: Senior Manager Human Resources Position/Task Grade: EEE-BAND Department: Human Capital Business Unit: Executive Eskom Renewables Area of specialization: Reporting to the General Manager: Business Development, the Senior Manager: Human Resources will strategically lead the establishment and evolution of the Human Resources function within the Renewables business, ensuring readiness for scale, commercialisation, and alignment within the Eskom Group. The role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, governance, and people practices aligned to a subsidiary operating model and the Renewables business lifecycle. Through effective HR business partnering, the position will support organisational design, leadership capability, talent sustainability, and culture transformation, positioning Human Resources as a strategic partner in enabling business performance and operational maturity within the Eskom Holdings environment.

Key Responsibilities

·       Formulates Corporate and Divisional Human Resources operations management strategy and direction.

·       Manages the Human Resources Operations Management.

·       Sets the functional direction for implementation of huma resources processes.

·       Leads and Implements Eskom Human Resources projects, portfolio initiatives for Transformation and ensure integration across the business disciplines within their respective Divisions.

·       Heads the transformation planning and implementation processes for the human resources function in Corporate, Divisions or Subsidiaries.

·       Provides a high-level Human Resources advisory and consultancy service.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

·       B Degree in Human Resources Behavioural Sciences / Social Sciences or

Management at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits or

·       B Tech in Human Resources Behavioural Sciences / Social Sciences or Management at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits                                                                                       

Experience: 

·     10 Years’ extensive experience in Senior Management and Human Resources value chain management and practices.
