Key Responsibilities
1.Timeous provision and quality control of protection relay settings for various equipment on the
2.Transmission and sub-Transmission networks.
3.Development of templates, policies, philosophies and guidelines.
4.Technical support to National Control, Transmission grids and other stakeholders on protection related
matters.
5.Training and development.

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
• BSc. Eng./B Eng. Electrical at NQF 8 with 480 Credits
• BSc. Eng./B Eng. Electrical at NQF 8 with 480 Credits
Related Minimum Experience:
• 4 years’ related experience in technical experience
Professional Registration:
• Professional Registration Body: Registration with ECSA as Professional Engineer
