Job description

Key Responsibilities

1.     Maintain the operational performance of the Plant Systems.

2.     Determine long-term performance of Plant.

3.     Perform special test on systems.

4.     Apply new calibration figures and standards due to a changing environment.

5.     OHS ACT and Environmental.

6.     Maintain an information system.

7.     Coordinate contractor staff activities.

8.     Assist with budget control.

·       IEEE Std 1441–Guide for the inspection of overhead transmission line construction

·       Power plant system and technology

·       Design codes and standards

·       Engineering theory

·    Relevant processes, procedures, policies, guidelines and legislation

·       Air conditioning legislation and regulations

·       Knowledge of products

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

 

·     National Diploma / National N Diploma Technical at NQF 6 with 240 Credits

Related Minimum Experience:

·       P1 P2 related practical experience on air-conditioning and

electrical systems and all other building installations.
