Position: Senior Manager Strategic Marketing and Branding Position/Task Grade: EEE-BAND Department: Corporate Affairs Business Unit: Strategic Marketing and Branding Area of specialization: Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services the Senior Manager Strategic Marketing and Branding will be responsible to provide strategic leadership for marketing and branding as a core lever of corporate reputation, stakeholder positioning, and organisational identity.

Key Responsibilities

·       Drive alignment between branding, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement to ensure a consistent organisational narrative.

·       Manage branding centre resources.

·       Provide strategic leadership for branding.

·       Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on branding, reputation positioning, and corporate identity matters.Develop and implement strategic marketing and branding direction and position, directive, policies, standards and procedures.

·       Support the strategic management of the organisation’s reputation.

·       Identify and manage sponsorship programmes in support of the organisation’s strategic priorities.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s): 

·       B Degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Business Management at NQF 7 with 360 credits or

·       B Tech in Marketing/ Communications/ Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits or

·       Advanced Diploma in Marketing/ Communications/ Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits.

Related Minimum Experience:

·       10 years of experience traditional promotional, marketing, advertising background.

·       Experience within large, complex, or regulated environments will be an advantage.
