Job description

Skills

· Good Welding Skills

· Good Communication Skills

· Be able to do all types of welding processes

· Proficient in the use of Basic Hand Tools

· Basic Planning Skills

· Computer Literacy

Knowledge

· Have sound knowledge and proficiency in Welding of various components to drawing as per procedures and process quality plans

· Good measuring skills and techniques

· Knowledge of different welding machines, tools equipment, processes, consumables and materials

· Ability to maintain a high Quality Standard of Work

· Familiar with the OSHACT 85 of 1993

· Basic knowledge of Quality Systems

· In depth knowledge of welding techniques

· Responsible Person in terms of Plant Safety Regulations

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

· Matric

· N3 Engineering Studies

· Welder Trade Qualification

· Equivalent Welder Qualification registered and recognised by the Government of RSA

Experience:

· 2 Year’s relevant Post Qualification experience
