Key Responsibilities:
· Perform operations management.
· Direct plant and conventional safety programme.
· Direct plant operations in the design base.
· Direct plant life cycle management in plant engineering, operating, and maintaining the plant.
· Manage plant contracts in line with power station policies and commercial procedures.
· Human resources management and training.
· Direct plant finances.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· B (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Control and Instrumentation, Industrial or Systems Engineering on NQF 7 level with 360 credits, or a
· B. Tech (Engineering) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Control and Instrumentation, Industrial or Systems Engineering on NQF 7 level with 360 credits or a
· National Higher Diploma (Engineering) in in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Control and Instrumentation, Industrial or Systems Engineering on NQF 7 level with 360 credits
Experience:
· 10 years Power Station experience in a management capacity, plant operations and engineering.
