· Key Responsibilities
o Provide technical consulting and investigating services.
o Provide and integrate engineering solutions or designs for asset creation.
o Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications.
o Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations.
o Provide input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
o Conduct discipline specific technology research.
o Participate in national and international technical forums.
o Provide professional technical leadership.

Minimum requirements
o Qualification(s):
• B Tech/National Higher Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Electronic Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits
o Related Minimum Experience:
• 4 years related experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations and electrical networks
o Professional Registration:
• Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) Professional Technologist
