•     Provide input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting

•     Conduct discipline specific technology research

•     Participate in national and international technical forums

o  Qualification(s):

•     B Tech/National Higher Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits

o  Related Minimum Experience:

•     4 years related experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations, electrical network.

o  Professional Registration:

•     ECSA Professional Technologist
