To provide hardware and software support to ensure the continuous availability of Transmission Energy Management System (TEMSE) and connectivity between TEMSE and other Energy Management System (EMS) within system operator control areas.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
Provide hardware system support
Provide communication network local area network (LAN) wide area network (WAN) support
Provide support for iter control centre protocol (ICCP) communication between Transmission and Distribution control centres.
Provide emergency management preventative plans
Provide consultancy and network support services

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- B Tech/ National H Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF 7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
- 4 Years’ experience in Engineering, energy management systems
Professional Registration Body:
- ECSA as Professional Technologist
