Position: Senior Advisor Prof Geographic Info Systems
Position/Task Grade: P15
Area of specialization: To lead, manage and develop geospatial resources, while providing strategic direction and specialist expertise in Geographic Information Systems and Science (GISc), Utility Network, spatial information management, cartography and spatial analytics to support informed decision-making, network operations, asset management and the achievement of divisional objectives.

Job description

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
B Degree/BTech/Advanced Diploma in Engineering Survey/Cartography/Geomatics/Geoinformatics at NQF7 with 360 credits.
Minimum Experience:
5 years minimum experience in the Geospatial field, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, spatial data processing, geo- analytics and project management.
