Key Responsibilities:
· Establish, develop and direct the Procurement and Supply Chain Management vision, strategy, objectives and plans aligned with organisational goals and statutory requirements.
· Direct strategic sourcing, procurement governance, service delivery management, transformation, centres of excellence and shared services.
· Develop commercial strategies, policies, processes and systems that enable effective service delivery, continuity of supply and value optimisation.
· Develop and manage strategic relationships with internal customers, external stakeholders and key suppliers, including high-level negotiations for critical goods and services.
· Direct financial, operational and people resources for the function, ensuring sound governance, cost control, performance management, talent development and a safe, diverse working environment.
· Lead Procurement and Supply Chain Management operations toward excellent customer service and report functional performance to EXCO and other governance structures.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
o B Degree in Business Management/ Commerce/ Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits or a
o B Tech in Business Management/ Commerce/ Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits or
o Advance Diploma in Business Management/ Commerce/ Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits
· Related Minimum Experience:
o 10 Years credible and recognised experience as a Procurement and Supply Chain Management (P&SCM) executive in large organisation.
· Professional Registration Body:
o Chattered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
