Area of specialization: To lead and manage the financial accounting and external reporting function by ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), applicable legislation, and organisational policies while maintaining sound financial governance, discipline, and controls, overseeing the financial close and statutory reporting processes, and providing high-quality financial information to supports effective decision-making, stakeholder confidence and the achievement of the organisation’s finance strategy. Job description

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s): 

  • Honours Degree in Accounting (with articles)CA(SA)/Finance/Financial Accounting/Taxation/Auditing at NQF8 with 480 credits 

Experience: 

  • 7 years financial management, financial reporting, financial accounting, taxation, internal control 

Professional Registration Body:

  • South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)
