Minimum requirements
Qualification(s)
- NQF Level 8 qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Treasury, Investment Management or a related discipline.
- A recognised professional designation such as CFA, CA(SA), ACT/treasury qualification, CIMA or equivalent will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in treasury, funding, capital markets, strategic finance or financial risk management within a large and complex organisation, of which at least 5 years should be at senior management or executive leadership level.
- Demonstrated experience in material debt/infrastructure funding transactions, lender and investor engagement, liquidity and capital structure management is required.
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, regulated, state-owned or other capital-intensive environments will be advantageous.
Professional Registration Body
- Registration or professional standing with CFA Institute and/or another recognised professional body relevant to treasury, investment, finance, accounting or management accounting, where applicable.
